We warmly invite you to a free special event to create an empowering and restorative space for women in the community - a space for empowerment, restoration, and genuine connection.
In partnership with OLLY and the Golden State Valkyries, we are thrilled to champion the vital importance of mental health and help build a supportive local network right here in the Bay Area. Refreshments, giveaways, and good vibes will be provided. Parking is not included.
Â
The Golden State Valkyries and OLLY, a San Francisco based leading wellness brand, began a multi-year partnership in May 2025 making OLLY a founding partner of the Valkyries. As part of this partnership, OLLY is the Official Health & Wellness Partner of the team. The partnership aligns with the Valkyries' commitment to community wellness. Founded with a mission to inspire lifelong healthy habits through innovative, science-backed supplements, OLLY brings its Bay Area roots and wellness expertise to the partnership.
Women carry the weight of the world, navigating workplace pressures, personal relationships, and societal expectations, often leaving their own self-care at the bottom of the list. In this interactive 30-minute workshop, Dr. Christine Coleman will draw on her expertise in mental health, resilience, and gender equity to guide participants in reflecting on stress, uncovering personal strengths, and reconnecting with what matters most to them. Through engaging discussion, interactive exercises, and empowering reflection, participants leave with practical strategies, a renewed sense of empowerment, and a deeper connection to themselves and the women around them.
This session will guide attendees through a gentle meditation focused on self-compassion and presence. This is not just a meditation that is combined with stretches that relieve tension; it's a shared experience designed to unify the room and provide a practical tool for attendees to take with them. It will be accessible to all, regardless of experience with meditation.
Moderator: Dr. Jen Douglas
